Rork review
What it does
Rork is an AI app builder that generates mobile apps from natural-language prompts. Its Pro tier produces cross-platform apps in React Native and Expo that run on iOS, Android, and web, while its Max tier generates native SwiftUI projects for Apple devices.
Pricing
The Free plan costs $0 and provides 5 credits per day, capped at 35 credits per month in major markets, resetting at the start of each calendar month. Paid plans, checked 2026-07-30, start at Rork Pro from $20 per month (100 credits) and $100 per month (500 credits), and Rork Max from $200 per month (1,000 credits) up to $1,800 per month (10,000 credits). Paid allowances reset on the monthly anniversary of the first purchase.
Limits that bite
Extra credits cannot be bought separately, so exceeding an allowance requires upgrading the whole tier. Rork Max output is iOS-only and cannot be published to Google Play. Expo apps have no built-in web hosting; code must be exported and deployed elsewhere.
How it compares
By Rork's own comparison, Bolt.new and v0 produce web apps with no native mobile output, and Replit's deploy target is the web rather than native iOS or Android.
Good fit / poor fit
A good fit for founders prototyping native mobile apps from prompts who value owning and exporting the generated code. A poor fit for teams needing predictable overage top-ups, or for Android-first products if choosing the iOS-only Max tier.
