CallRail review
What it does
CallRail is a call-tracking and conversation-intelligence platform for marketers. It attributes phone calls, texts, and form submissions to the campaigns that drove them, and its AI transcribes and analyzes calls to surface leads and keywords.
Pricing
All four plans include 5 local numbers, 250 local minutes, and 25 texts. Pricing, checked 2026-07-30, runs from $50 per month for Lead Tracking (billed annually), through Lead Tracking Complete at $95 and Lead Conversion at $150, to Lead Conversion Complete at $195. Every account starts with a 14-day free trial and requires no credit card, and plans are month-to-month with no long-term contract.
Limits that bite
Base plans include only 250 minutes and 5 numbers; beyond that, overages bill at $0.06 per local minute, $3 per extra number, and $0.03 per text, and CallRail states these charges are non-refundable. Minutes are rounded up to the nearest minute before totaling. Premium Conversation Intelligence is limited to the $150-and-up tiers.
How it compares
By CallRail's own comparison pages, CallTrackingMetrics' comparable plan starts at $179 per month with per-activity AI fees, while Invoca is quote-based and typically requires annual enterprise contracts.
Good fit / poor fit
A good fit for agencies and local businesses needing call attribution with usage-based flexibility and AI transcription. A poor fit for high call volumes where per-minute overages accumulate, or for teams outside the US, Canada, UK, and Australia.
